Sweet Avarice

Sweet Avarice are a North East Band that was born in 2003 and is a continuation of five members most colourful musical journeys. We are the type of band that could entertain at almost any type of function and venue, including weddings, parties, pub and club gigs, and festivals. Our eclectic repertoire of rock, pop and soul spans a wide variation of cover songs that would be welcome at any event.

Meet the band...

	Kath began her singing career at 24 as a backing singer in a professional band, and quickly realised aspirations as a solo artist. However, Kath had always loved the live music scene and joined the rest of the boys in 2003 creating the band we enjoy now.
	Richard plays bass and has been a part of the live music scene since being a teenager, and has been involved in writing his own music with highly experienced bands in the past. Richy has a particular appreciation of soul music and you can hear his exciting influence in the songs choices.
	Neil has played guitar since he was 16, and has been influenced by great musicians such as Led Zeplin and Jimmy Hendrix. Neil is also the man behind the scenes in the studio, taking an interest in mixing and producing the sounds of the band.
	Kev is the man on keyboards, who has a passion for music having played and written songs with many bands in the North. His influences range far and wide and this is reflected in the wide variation of songs presented by the band.
	Rosco is on drums - his energy and drive is obvious upon seeing and hearing his awe inspiring performances. His ability is clear to see and compliments the other members of the band perfectly to give an impressive overall sound.
